Colenne Whalen lost her 4 year battle with soft tissue sarcoma on Friday, May 4th 2018. She was first diagnosed in March of 2014. From there she embarked on a difficult journey in hopes of achieving remission. For a majority of these years, her cancer remained stable, allowing her to live life to the fullest. Over the past several months, her health dove into a downward spiral. Unfortunately, in her weakened state, she succumbed to this awful disease.
Colenne was the glue in her family; there was nothing more important to her than the happiness of her loved ones.
Her children and family want nothing more then to fulfill her final wishes and provide the services that she would have wanted. Before passing, she had asked to be cremated and placed into a bench which will be located at her mother's gravesite. Any donations received will be used to purchase the bench and cover funeral costs. Her children, Katelyn, Alyson and Marie, will be in charge of the final expenses.
