Fundraiser for Chad, Lily and Isabelle Whitaker

Hi! My name is Lauren, and I’m a family friend of Chad and Lily Whitaker. I want to get this Go Fund Me page set up for Chad, Lily and Isabelle as they have a long road ahead of them.

As some of you know, or are just learning, Chad suffered a serious neck injury over the weekend. He is here in Steamboat at our local hospital. Since he was admitted he has had two neck fusions (anterior and posterior) and is recovering from spinal cord damage. He will need to be transferred down to Denver to a rehab facility, once he is medically able to make the trip. As of now, it’s predicted that he will be in rehab anywhere from 2-6 months. He will need to have lots of PT and OT.

The funds raised will help with travel expenses to and from Denver, help with their farm, Valley View Farm, medical bills that will start piling up.

If you’re lucky to be family, a friend or acquaintance of the Whitaker family, you know that they are always reaching out to help others. Let’s do the same and help them!
