The foundation of Ricardo Moyses Junior was created to help children and adolescents (0-21 years old) with cancer who are in situations of social vulnerability, enabling them to have access to appropriate treatment to increase their chance of surviving. It is located in Juiz de Fora, Brazil.
The Foundation is now seeking to refurbish and enlarge its playground. We are working directly with the foundation, and 100% of the money raised will go directly towards building a new playground for the children to have some sort of fun while enduring these horrible times in their life.

Here is some more information about this foundation and what it does:
With a capacity of 60 beds, the site comfortably hosts the parents and children undergoing cancer treatment in the city. The site operates a school for children 1-5 years years old (kindergarten and preschool). Furthermore, it offers musical recreation, computers, storytelling and other after-school activities such as capoeira, ballet and music education for the children and adolescents staying there, all free of cost.
Until 2016, 592 children have been helped by the foundation.The foundation provides lodging, food, transportation, medicines, physical exams (x-ray, scans, etc), dental treatment, psychological assistance, education, etc.
Some Background information of the mission:
The solidarity work began after Ricardo Moyses Junior died in May 1994 due to cancer. His parents, Jane and Richard Berlose Moses Moses, besides the doctor who took care of the boy, Dr. Angelo Atalla, started a support movement for families cope with the disease. The organization was founded on October 31, 1994. In July 1998, the Juiz de Fora Town Hall donated a plot of 900m² where a support house was built with the donations of the communities and entrepreneurs. The mission has been run by volunteers and workers ever since.
This Campaign is ran by Thiago Sarmento Pinto, and Caio Schwam Marques.
