Emergency Medical Travel

Hello friends and family,  I am writing this with a heavy heart for my dear Alison and her family.   Last Friday Alison received a call that her mom, Linda, who resides in Arizona,  had gone into the hospital after falling ill.  Within a few short days the lab tests revealed her mother, Linda, was suffering from cancer.  This was a shock to us all when there was no red flags or indications she was living with this.  The Dr spoke with Alison over the phone explaining the diagnosis and then what followed was something no son or daughter ever wants to hear, the prognosis is terminal.  This news has devastated us all that love Linda.  Alison and I have been best friends since we were 14 and Linda was like a second mom to me growing up, my heart is beyond broken. She doesn't deserve this, no one does, and I wish it wasn't so! The pain and sadness Alison and her family is going through cannot be expressed in words and I wish I could take it all away.    As most of you know,  the family suffered through the painful loss of Alison's younger sister's fight with cancer just a  few years ago and they have been trying to heal from the memory of Renee's passing still to this day.  And so I felt compelled to create this campaign on behalf of Alison and Steev in hopes of finding a way for us all to lend our support towards their unexpected loss of income they will be experiencing for the next few weeks and emergency travel expenses.  They will be renting an RV to make the trip to Arizona within the next few days to care for her mom and also to provide much needed support for Alison's dad who is hurting through this all as well.  I set the campaign at $2000 to start with.  This is based on the travel expenses for the RV and for the loss of both their incomes for the next 2 weeks.  It is unknown how long their stay will be,  but in the meantime I hoped we could all come together and do whatever we can to contribute towards reuniting Alison with her mom and  providing some financial relief.
