Funding to Support Arianna Foley & Family

My niece Arianna Foley was admitted to CHEO in Ottawa on Monday following multiple visits to Kingston General Hospital and significant unexplained swelling around her eyes and muscles. Autoimmune disorders have been suspected and it was initially believed that she would be able to go home on the weekend however after multiple exploratory tests it is clear this will no longer be the case. Arianna will need to remain at CHEO in Ottawa for a minimum of 2 more weeks for additional tests and scans to determine what exactly is going on.

Roger and Alexis will need to remain in Ottawa with Arianna until a cause and treatment can be determined, while Arianna's siblings remain home with their Aunt. As you can imagine at a time like this the unexpected costs and loss of income have created additional stress on this family. The goal is to alleviate some of the financial stress and burden so the focus can be 100% where it needs to be, on Arianna.

Arianna is a 14-year-old student, attending Gananoque Secondary School who loves spending time with family, playing board games, reading or doing arts and crafts. Arianna is also an animal lover and has enjoyed the pet therapy at CHEO.
