Funding St Werburghs Community Food Share Project

Bristol Families Community Food Share project, set up in response to the global pandemic, has achieved so many great things. Over 25 families have been continually and reliably supported through an unprecedented time-period in history. The community in and around the St Werburghs Community Centre and the BS2/BS5 area have shown what can be achieved when community acts together, with love.

Although the issues facing these families has doubtless changed, the issues are by no means solved. Covid-19 may be on the wan, but Bristol families are still experiencing the struggles of rising food and energy prices. As part of this community we feel we cannot now let these families down. Therefore, with the very generous help of Burges Salmon and the St Werburghs Community Centre, we are rejuvenating the food share project. A new start. A fresh chapter, with an aim to help tackle the root issues surrounding food insecurity.

We are reopening this GoFundMe by asking for donations, all of which will go to helping secure the food parcels these families still very much need.

Thank you for the continuing support of this fantastic community,

The Food Share Team

Donations of NON PERISHABLE food items and bathroom/kitchen essentials can be dropped off at St Werburghs Community Centre in the donation boxes provided. Thank you so much!
