Funding Rachal's Fight

In July of 2017, Rachal went to the doctor as she discovered a small almond-sized lump in her breast. She immediately scheduled an appointment with her OB and upon initial evaluation, Rachal's doctor was certain she had a cyst and even offered to drain it. However, the lump was not a cyst, and a couple of weeks later Rachal was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC). 

 

While IDC is the most common form of breast cancer accounting for about 80% of diagnoses, this specific type of breast cancer is considered triple-negative. This means that the cancer Rachal has is less responsive to normal treatment methods and much more aggressive. 

 

Right now, Rachal is on chemo round 10 of 16 (yes, 16). She will also be undergoing multiple surgeries as apart of her treatment plan. Since her diagnosis, Rachal has had to go out on FMLA and tap into financial sources intended for her and her family's future. The costs associated with chemo and additional treatments are flooring, not to mention daily living expenses that coincide with raising a family. 

 

Rachal is not the kind of person to ask for help...ever. But she needs assistance now. If you are a prayerful person, please, above all else, keep Rachal and her family in your prayers.
