Redemptorist Retreat Center, dedicated to Our Mother of Perpetual Help, in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin is in great need of a new roof.
The roof is over 40 years old; the shingles are blowing off, shriveled up and definitely not protecting the building from rain, snow, sleet, wind and the hot summer heat. We get many leaks and it has been one patch on top of another patch.
Without a new roof, the ceiling and interior of the building is at risk of continuing decay and damage. Our budget has not allowed us to reserve funds for a new roof.
We offer retreats for men, women, priests, deacons, women religious, high school students, confirmation classes, college groups, we host groups that are all seeking spiritual renewal. Many come on a spiritual retreat looking for peace of mind and heart; seeking guidance in their spiritual journey. We do not turn anyone away.
We need to preserve this retreat ministry; this spiritual oasis in an ever changing, chaotic world. The Retreat Center offers a place to refresh the weary soul and find solitude in a world that robs us of our very selves.
