Thao for her brother Thanh's Stem Cell Transplant

Thanh is a 29-year-old loving father of a 20-month old little girl. He was diagnosed with a very aggressive and rare form of leukemia (Gamma Delta T-cell leukemia) on February 13, 2019, in My Tho, Tien Giang, Vietnam. His doctor advised our family to bring him to Singapore for treatment as this is a dangerous form of leukemia and requires specialized treatment that may only be available there.


To save his life, our family has brought him to Singapore General Hospital (SGH) with the hope that he will overcome this fatal illness. The recommended treatment here is 4 rounds of chemotherapy and stem cell transplant in order to cure his cancer.

(After the first cycle of chemotherapy, luckily, it was effective as his cancer cells were reduced. He has now started the second round of chemo.)


He is putting up a strong fight with a desire to be with his daughter and be able to see her grow up, giving up is not an option for him.

His daughter who is too young to be aware of her dad's situation is desperate for her dad's return. It breaks our hearts every time she cries for her dad.

Yet, we are struggling with the medical bills, as it is very expensive in Singapore, which exceeds our ability to pay, even with the financial contributions from our entire family.


Please help us provide for his stem cell transplant in Singapore. Without your help, we will be forced to return to Vietnam where his chances of survival are slim to none. A contribution of any amount would help tremendously.
