<div>My name is Guillaume Garreau, and I am a French-American father fighting an unimaginable battle to be reunited with my beloved son, Maximilien. He is 3.5 years old and has been cruelly kept away from me ever since his mother abducted him over a year ago. Despite winning multiple court cases in both the United States and Kazakhstan, I am still unable to see or bring my son home. Now, I am out of financial resources and need your help to continue this fight.

<div><strong>The Heartbreaking Situation</strong>
</div>
<div>One year ago, my ex-wife refused to return from what was supposed to be a two-week vacation in Kazakhstan with our son. She was charged with parental child abduction in the U.S., and an arrest order was issued against her. She has also been placed on Interpol’s wanted list. In Kazakhstan, I successfully won the abduction case, but enforcement has been stalled. The local police in Almaty, Kazakhstan refuses to take action simply because I am a foreigner, despite the court rulings in my favor.

<div>Instead of complying with the law, my ex-wife has filed multiple frivolous legal cases to delay any enforcement possible. She is now suing my enforcement agent to prevent him from locating and safely bringing my son back home. Meanwhile, I continue to face overwhelming legal costs to fight for justice.

<div><strong>Why This Fight Is Urgent</strong>
</div>
<div>Maximilien was diagnosed with autism last year, but his mother refuses to acknowledge the diagnosis or seek therapy for him. My son needs all of the resources he can get in order to improve his social and emotional skills as he continues to grow. Unfortunately, his mother keeps him socially isolated, depriving him of the care and interaction he desperately needs. Neighboring witnesses in Kazakhstan have reported that she and her mother frequently argue, and that Maximilien is rarely seen outside their apartment. This is not a safe or healthy environment for my son as he needs to socialize with other children, interact with others in real-life situations, and receive an overall good education in school.

<li>The U.S. government is applying diplomatic pressure, but this is a slow process.

<li>I have personally spent over $100,000 in legal fees and travel expenses.

<li>I have taken multiple trips to Kazakhstan, each costing thousands of dollars.
</li>
<li>I am now $80,000 in debt, and my U.S. lawyers have not been paid since July 2024.
