Help me make my musical dream a reality

Gareth James Hall has been making music since forever and already boasts some rather impressive credentials for an unknown artist. Forever the perfectionist, GJ never wanted to throw himself into the limelight until he felt the time was absolutely right. That time is now & he is ready to make waves in the second half of 2022.

Originally from Mansfield Woodhouse / England but brought up in Lausanne /Switzerland, Gareth started music at the age of 6 starting in a choir which his parents signed him up for hoping it would « stop him from singing in class at school».

He developped a taste for songwriting through his dad’s love of poetry and took up the guitar at 15 when he realized musicians weren’t all that reliable. He then proceeded to learn the piano and from there on he couldn’t stop writing songs.

Outkast

He boasts an eclectic array of inspirations which all surprisingly have 1 thing in common: Their undeniable impact on a generation.

Now "With a little help from my friends" to quote a band that most definitely was able to reach it's musical amitions, maybe I'll be able to take the first steps in making my musical dream a reality.

Your donations shall be used to fund my first official video clip for my music project that I am launching. I am extremely excited about the concept and team that have decided to join me in the making of it since they are extremely talented individuals whose faith in the project has allowed me to hire them for prices that they wouldn't otherwise consider.

The music video portrays how we cover up our true emotions in social environments out of fear of judgment, social influences, etc...

This is portrayed through how the characters all wear boxes on their heads which appear or disappear depending on the environment they are in. "MOOD" is therefore a introspective look into the beauty of the great reveal of one's true emotions when the circumstances allow it.

-the technical material needed (cameras, lighting, props) & the amazing team needed for the 3 days of filming.

Gareth James Hall fait de la musique depuis son plus jeune âge et possède déjà des références assez impressionnantes pour un artiste relativement inconnu. D’une nature perfectionniste, GJ n'a jamais voulu se jeter sous les feux de la rampe jusqu'à ce qu'il sente que c’était le moment parfait. Ce moment est venu et il est maintenant prêt à faire des vagues dans la seconde moitié de 2022.

Originaire de Mansfield Woodhouse / Angleterre mais élevé à Lutry / Suisse, Gareth a commencé la musique à l'âge de 6 ans en commençant dans une chorale dans laquelle ses parents l'ont inscrit en espérant que cela «l'empêcherait de chanter en classe à l'école».

Il a développé un goût pour l'écriture de chansons grâce à l'amour de son père pour la poésie et a commencé la guitare à 15 ans lorsqu'il s'est rendu compte que les musiciens n'étaient pas si fiables. Il a ensuite appris le piano et à partir de là, il n'a plus cessé d'écrire des chansons.

Il revendique un éventail éclectique d'inspirations qui ont tous étonnamment 1 chose en commun : leur impact indéniable sur une génération.

A présent, "With a little help from my friends" pour citer un groupe musical qui a très certaienement réussi à atteindre leurs ambitions musicales, aidez-moi à réaliser ce premier grand pas vers mes rêves.

Vos contributions seront utilisés afin de financer la réalisation de mon premier clip de musique officiel de mon projet musical. Je me réjouis énormément d'entreprendre ce projet car le concept et l'équipe de vidéographie qui l'entourent sont excellents.

L'équipe est composé d'individus extrêment rodés dans ce domaine, dont la foi en ce projet m'ont permis de les engager pour un prix qu'ils ne pourraient pas considérer dans d'autres circonstances. Le concept quant à lui met en avant comment nous couvrons nos vrais sentoîments et émotions lorsque nous sommes confrontés à certaines situations sociales par : peur de jugement, influence sociale, etc...

Ceci est mis en avant dans la vidéo par le fait que tous les personnages ont la tête couverte par une boîte qui apparaît ou disparraît en fonction de l'environnement dans lequel ils se trouvent. "MOOD" est donc une sorte de regard introspectif porté sur la beauté de la grande révélation de ses sentiments les plus pures lorsque les circonstances le permettent.

Vos donations seront utilisés afin de subventionner le matériel technique requis (caméras, lumières, matériel additionnel) ainsi que l'excellente équipe qui m'accompagne pendant les 3 jours de tournage.
