Our Little Warrior: Supporting Chrissy in Her Second Battle Against Cancer A Devastating Recurrence: The Fight Is Not Over My name is Troy, and I am writing this on behalf of my incredibly brave daughter, Chrissy, who is 9 years old. We are facing the unthinkable: a recurrence of pediatric breast cancer. Just 2 years ago, Chrissy endured her first grueling battle against this disease. She fought with a strength that inspired everyone around her, and she won. We celebrated her as a survivor and watched her reclaim her childhood. She is a bright, silly, and loving girl who 'loves building LEGOs and dreams of being an astronaut'. This recent news has been a catastrophic blow to our family. We are now facing the emotional and financial terror of starting her treatment all over again, knowing the long and difficult road ahead. The Immediate Need: Why We Need Your Help Now Chrissy's cancer requires surgery at a specialized center. This has placed an impossible burden on our family. My partner and I have had to stop working completely. We have devoted ourselves entirely to her care, managing hospital stays, frequent appointments, and ensuring she has the emotional support she needs. This means we have lost our only source of income. The funds we raise will go directly to covering: • Life-Saving Medical Expenses: Co-pays, deductibles, medications, and specialized treatments not fully covered by insurance. • Essential Living Expenses: We need help with basic rent, utilities, and food costs, as we have no income right now. • Travel and Lodging: Getting Chrissy to the best specialists involves frequent travel to Houston TX and covering extended stays away from home. • Therapy and Support: Costs for child life specialists and emotional therapy for Chrissy and our family. We Are Grateful, But the Need is Growing To those of you who stood by us during Chrissy's first fight—our deepest, most heartfelt thank you. Your love, prayers, and support helped us get through the toughest time of our lives. We could not have done it without our network of family and friends who have already generously contributed again. However, the costs associated with a cancer recurrence are overwhelming. We are humbly asking the world for help because our personal resources have been exhausted. We are fighting for our daughter's life, and we cannot do it while simultaneously fighting financial ruin. No Donation is Too Small Every single dollar moves us closer to ensuring Chrissy receives the care she desperately needs. Whether you can donate $5 or $500, please know that any amount is not small to us. It represents hope, another day of treatment, and a chance for her to smile again. If you are unable to donate, you can still be a vital part of her support team by sharing this fundraiser with your network. Thank you for reading our story. Thank you for caring about our little warrior. We are praying for a miracle and fighting for her future. Please help us give Chrissy her second chance at a full, healthy life. With deep gratitude, Troy and Chrissy
