<div>Hi, I'm Alice, I am 26 and I've been sick for 5 years. My current wheelchair has been an incredible blessing but as my condition has worsened it is no longer suitable for my needs.

<div>My diagnoses are Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, ME and FND. I experience multiple daily dislocations to my joints, heart and GI problems, constant fatigue, nerve/muscle/bone pain, paralysis, speech loss and continually worsening seizures occurring up to hundreds of times a day.

<div>4 years ago I started using an active wheelchair to enable me to get around, as my conditions progressed I needed an electric add on that I could use on bad days, now I am only able to use the electric system. This chair has helped me to have a lot more life but it is now causing me pain, barriers, and danger as when I seize in my chair I can fall out or dislocate more joints.

<div>The new chair would be able to traverse more types of ground, opening my world. It would be able to go up curbs (as I no longer have the strength to pop a wheelie). The seat would support my spine and ribs which regularly come out of place and it would enable me to travel. It would also enable me to remain safe while seizing when I am out of the house.

<div>Getting real with you all here. I am at the point in my journey where I have made a bucket list, written a will and prepared gifts for loved ones for special occasions that I don't anticipate being here to attend. Whether my conditions takes my life or I choose to go to a clinic to end the unbearable pain which is my daily experience, I don't believe I will be around for a very long time. Medical support has reached its limit, and after 5 years fighting to get better but getting much worse, I would much prefer to spend my energy making positive memories than having painful tests and treatments that will have no affect and bankrupt my family.

<div>If you are able to support me, however you can, to enable me to have the equipment I need to live the best I can in the next year, to have a chair I can use to safely travel, see a bit of the world while I'm in it and make memories with my loved ones.
