Funding a new car for the Evans Fam

The Evans family (Chris, Amy, Kaylin 10, Emma 8) recently took a large leap of faith and relocated their family of 4 from Indianapolis, Indiana to Portland, Oregon. They headed into the uncertainty of new jobs and an apartment they had never even seen. Before they left Indiana, they gave their second car away, blessing someone in need, and left town in their family van.
After they braved the stress of a cross-country move and felt somewhat acclimated in their new surroundings, they made the decision to buy an efficient used commuter car for Chris to go to his new high school math teaching job.
Just 2.5 weeks after purchasing the car, Amy and the girls were in a car accident that left the new car totaled. The accident is a total financial loss for their family. The car purchase was so recent that the car title has not even reached them in the mail, and without it they have not been able to release the vehicle. Consequently, they are forced to pay a daily storage fee at a junkyard.
Ultimately, we are thankful that Amy and the girls are safe, with minor injuries (whiplash and neck stiffness for Amy, a seatbelt burn on the neck for Emma, and an abdomen bruise for Kaylin).
The family is having such gracious attitudes. They are making adjustments to make their life work around one car, with Chris taking the bus to and from his teaching job. While Portland does have good public transportation, his commute is not a direct one and is difficult logistically.
We would like to raise money for a new commuter car for the Evans family. Amy home schools both of the girls full time, transports them to and from educational classes multiple times a week, and also works part time as a Sign Language Interpreter. A second vehicle really would greatly reduce the stress for all of the family members on a daily basis.
