Nuestra querida Isla de Puerto Rico está atravesando el momento más difícil en su historia. Está viviendo una crisis humanitaria después de que el impacto recibido por el Huracan María, un fenómeno categoría 5 que algunos han definido como un evento apocalíptico, destruyera todo lo que encontró en su camino.
El pueblo de Puerto Rico: niños, ancianos, incapacitados, enfermos…está pasando hambre, muchos se han quedado sin hogar, necesitan medicamentos y tienen otras necesidades muy diversas y URGENTES. No olvidemos a los animales, quienes también necesitan alimentos y atención.
Marey, empresa puertorriqueña establecida en el 1955, siente el deber de ayudar a nuestro pueblo, el que tanto nos ha dado y gracias a quien hoy existimos. Para ello hemos creado la Fundación Marey, una entidad sin fines de lucro que cumple con los parámetros Federales y tiene certificación 501 (c).
Hemos identificado ya a personas con grandes necesidades a quienes queremos les llegue ayuda inmediata sin necesidad de esperar un proceso burocrático extenso. Tenemos también alianzas con pequeñas asociaciones puertorriqueñas y otros voluntarios para repartir lo que de ti recibamos.
Cada vez que entreguemos aportación a personas con extrema necesidad, informaremos y mostraremos gráficamente las obras que se vayan realizando. Administraremos tu aportación con seriedad y responsabilidad.
Nuestros amigos y suplidores locales e internacionales gracias a Go Fund Me, podrán ayudar a Puerto Rico. Muchos nos pidieron contribuír y nos inspiraron a crear esta campaña.

The island of Puerto Rico is going through the most difficult moment in its history. A humanitarian crisis that has been compared to the result of an apocalyptic event. The people of Puerto Rico: the children, the elderly, the disabled, the sick ...are running out of food, water and supplies after Category 5 Hurricane María devastated the island . Many have become homeless, need medicines and have other urgent needs. Let's not forget the animals, who also need food and attention.
Marey, a Puerto Rican company established in 1955, feels the duty to help our people. The same people who have given us so much and thanks to whom our company has thrived and kept us where we are today. For these people we have created Marey Foundation, a non-profit organization that complies with the Federal parameters and is 501 (c) certified.
We have identified people in extreme need and we want them to receive immediate help without having to wait for an extensive bureaucratic process. We also have alliances with small Puerto Rican associations and other volunteers, to distribute what we receive from you. Every time we help someone we will inform and share the work that has being done. We will manage your contribution with seriousness and responsibility. Thanks to Go Fund Me our local and international friends and suppliers can help Puerto Rico. Many asked us how they could contribute and that inspired us to create this page.
