Across Malawi, our women's groups have grown the skills and financial training we gave them over the last two years and created thriving businesses through soap-making, cookstove production, farming, and sewing. They have invested their earnings into better homes, livestock, school fees for their kids, bicycles and motorcycles, and projects to support the elderly and orphans in their communities!
Now they are ready to launch new and more ambitious business projects together!
During our recent visit they laid out plans for female-owned maize mills, dairy farms, tailoring businesses, motorcycle repair shops, and pig and chicken farms. They've already proven that together they can take a little knowledge, a little money, and grow it into a huge benefit for themselves, their children and their communities. Now they are ready to take it to the next level - and we want to support them!
