Fund to support Monica Dolheimer

It was June 19, 2020, just living and pushing through this crazy year... Then she stopped in her tracks... She said it felt like something exploded in her head. Monica was found and rushed to the Hanover ER, where they dicovered she had a brain aneurysm and a stroke. They had to fly her to york hospital where she was in emergency surgery for approx 5 hrs. She was truly minutes from death... Her neurosurgeon explained brain aneurysms on a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being the worst. Monica was a 5 and the first "5 patient" the surgeon spoke to. That scale of a brain bleed, he said patients rarely come off the ventilator... Monica is an absolute miracle and is still amazing us everyday!!! After surgery she was in the ICU for 3 weeks, with many ups and downs. She was then transported to a rehabilitation hospital where she made great strides.  She is now home and in out-patient therapy where she is still working hard on getting back to herself. There is a lot of work to do and many appointments to come...

Monica has been out of work since this happened and we're not sure when she will get back. The medical bills are piling up, with the day to day expenses. We are asking for help through this period of healing and getting her strength back. We know these are hard times for everyone, and we are grateful for anyone that can help.
