Fund to help my brother

I’m not quite sure how to begin this as I’ve never don’t it before & pray never to have to do it again.   My name is Susan Paul and I'm from Frisco Texas.  
I’m setting this fund up for my brother Phillip & his 11 year old son Johnny to be able to pay for living expenses. Like countless like others they are having to start their lives from the ground up as a result of Hurricane Harvey. My brother was only able to save a few possessions & the family dog when he was forced to leave the house in the middle of the night. The home they lived in was a rental house in Beaumont & sadly, Phillip did not have flood insurance for the contents of the home. My brother will have to make arrangements for another place to live so he can return to work and his son can start school & they can slowly replace their possessions.
I’ve helped him to start the FEMA disaster assistance process & thankfully he was approved for transitional housing assistance (a hotel) within a couple days. His request for financial aid for all other living expenses hasn’t been completed yet & it’s uncertain how long the process will take or how much funding he will receive. Expenses have already started to mount up with buying gas for travel, some hotel cost, food and out of pocket costs for medications. Phillip is an electrician & many of his work tools were in his work issued truck that was overtaken by flood waters. It’s unknown if any of his tools can be salvaged or if he will have the expense of replacing them. The list of expenses seems endless and is very overwhelming to think about, but the emotional impact this disaster has had on so many people is immeasurable. I am so grateful to God that my brother & nephew are safe and sound.
I wish I had the resources myself to replace all that they have lost & more, but I don’t. So for that reason I am  reaching out to others asking for donations to help them out in the coming weeks.     Anything you can donate will be a huge blessing. Thank you in advance.
