Fund to help Mike Shelton after devasting fire

My uncle, Dwight “Mike” Shelton, recently lost almost everything due to a house fire on October 31st. Mike lived in his house in Erwin TN for the past 43 years. 

The fire started when his truck caught fire while parked in the carport and quickly spread to the house. A volunteer fireman was able to save a few important sentimental items like his fathers medals.  However, the truck, home and everything within, are a total loss. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the fire.

The home, unfortunately, was not insured. My mother, Loretta (Shelton) Cooper, and I want to reach out to friends and family long distance to ask if they might be willing to help out.

Mike is staying in a hotel now and doesn’t have a computer or smartphone. We would love to establish a fund so that he can find a short term apartment and focus on whats next to rebuild or replace his home.
