Fund the Development of 'The Party's Over' Short Film

Hi! I'm Tea, the writer and director of The Party's Over, a Deakin University Graduate short film about the complexities and challenges of toxic relationships. It highlights the story of 18-year-old Maya who attends a new years eve party with her boyfriend Noah. Noah's actions throughout the night change the trajectory of her already uncertain first year out of high-school.
As the film is a student-project, we have to raise all the money completely on our own. But as we're full time students, we have to fundraise in order to afford funding the film to the quality it deserves. So in combination with holding fundraising events, we have decided to open a go-fund-me!
Your contribution will go towards:
- Our location
- Catering to feed our cast + crew of around 30 people
- Essential production design, costume, and hair and makeup costs.
- Our 5 in 1 sound mix so that the film can play in cinemas!
- Submissions to national and international film festivals, as each of these submissions come with a cost.
- Ultimately providing our creative team with networking opportunities, created by the film, that will help us get our foot in the door of the highly competitive film industry.
Every person who donates will receive their names in the credit of the film.
