<div>Let me tell you about the vision we have here for helping Pakistani women and families to have a better life. Specifically, our aim is the communities of families who work in the brick fields in and around the city of Lahore. The men and women who work here have at some point taken a debt, and having not had enough to pay it off at the deadline, they have no choice but to work for brick factory owners. However, their rate of pay isn't enough to get them out of their situation, and they may end up working their whole lives there. The work conditions can be dangerous for their health and even their lives. That is why we want to start these sewing schools in partnership with the University of Sewing.

<div>With our friends at the University of Sewing and the help of the community we have here, I believe we can fund at least three sewing schools to help train women who are working at these brick factories. We also will need to supply them with equipment, teachers and utilities. With new skills, tools and an opportunity to gain extra funds through seamstress work and clothing creation, it is our hope they can have a better life. Here is a bit of a rundown of what our costs will be and an outline of our plan.

<div>Each sewing machine will cost $100. We will need 10 machines to start each school.

<div>Sewing machine tables: $100

<div>Property rent: $100
</div>
<div>Clothes, needles, machine oil, scissors, and irons: $500
</div>
<div>Each school we can fund for $2000.

<div>So for a vision of three total schools the cost will come to $6000. I hope that you can see how much of a difference you can make in the lives of these people in poverty. They want to work and build a better life for themselves and their families, but they just lack the training and tools!
