My name is Tabitha Lincoln. I am a filmmaker based in Omaha, NE, and the grand-niece of Rodney Lincoln. I am kindly asking for your donations to make a documentary that will detail Rodney's life of wrongful incarceration for over 36 years while being convicted of murdering JoAnn Tate and attacking her two daughters. Although DNA testing and a pleading eyewitness testimony was not enough for Rodney’s release, eventually a personal commute to time served from the governor was. We will dive into why exactly it took so long for Rodney to get released, what his current life out of prison looks like, and what we can do now to help those stuck in the prison system.

Our budget is quite large for this project, but for good reason. Here's what your donations will fund:

Food and boarding for me and my team when we travel back and forth from Omaha, Nebraska to Saint Louis, MO

Paying professional interview subjects for their time

Paywalls for government information on Rodney's case

Hourly for additional videographers, gaffers, sound and light designers, editors and production assistants

Equipment- like a better 2nd camera, more lights and mics

Distribution fees for different streaming services

I know the amount is intimidating, but every penny counts! Please consider giving whatever you are comfortable with, and share as much as you can!

As an independent filmmaker who has close personal ties to Rodney, I am dedicated to educating an audience about his life and using his story to inspire others into action that our justice system desperately needs.
