Hi! My name is Riley Whitfield and I'm currently a senior at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts.

This year, my choir got the amazing opportunity to sing at Carnegie Hall in the Big Apple. This, however, comes at the heavy price of $2,800, which is not ideal in my situation as I'm trying to save for college among other opportunities that may come this year and other school fees as well.

All this information became extremely real to me as papers with lists of fees and payment plans have started coming in, and it's been very overwhelming. What gave me hope, though, was seeing my friend and peer start a GoFundMe for the same reasons, and it gave me the courage to ask for help from my community too.

Truly anything helps, even sharing to someone you know who can, please help me reach my goals so that I can continue to pursue opportunities that align with my passions! To those of you who can, I'm genuinely so grateful and thank you all for listening.
