Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out during a difficult time. I was recently diagnosed with mononucleosis (mono), and it has completely knocked me off my feet. For the past week, I’ve been unable to work and I am currently unsure when I’ll be well enough to return.

I work as a Pre-K teacher in State College, a job that I truly love but it requires a lot of energy and hands on involvement with the kiddos. I usually supplement my income with babysitting gigs on the weekends, but due to the severity of my symptoms and the rest required to recover, I’ve had to stop working entirely.

I typically try to manage things on my own and avoid asking for help, but right now, I’m facing financial hardship. Through my job I have no PTO available so this will leave me without income during this period of time.

I’m humbly asking for support to help cover basic living expenses like rent, groceries, and bills while I focus on healing. Every little bit helps, and I’m so grateful to anyone who is able to donate or even just share this with others.
