It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Mama Rosemary Odotte Kojiem. The reckless and indiscriminate hands of death took Mama from us on Saturday, August 19th following a tragic accident. She was 76 years old.
Mama Rose was wife to the late Mr. Michael Odotte Kojiem. She was the loving mother to the Late Millicent Ayiemba Opiacha, Beatrice Omollo, Eunice Odotte Amadi, the late Ben Odotte Kojiem, Dorothy Odotte, Amos Ochieng Odotte, Winnie Odotte, Lydia Odotte and Doc Odotte. Auntie to Naaman Pallo, Tina Ojiem, James Ojiem, Duncan Ojiem, Judy Ojiem, Linda Ojiem, Jack Obong'o, Lillian Omwono, Anne Omwono, Nixon "Ojaa" Oloo, Humphrey Oloo, Nancy Oloo, Wycleff Oloo, Newton Adoyo, Jerome Adoyo, Loyce Adoyo, Mike Ogolla, Terry Ogolla, and Daughters-in-law Agnes Ogaja Kojiem, Rebecca Okore Odotte, Carolyne Njoga Odotte.
She was grandmother to 32 grand children.
Mama was born and raised in Nyakach, Kenya and worked for Kenya Railways for a majority of her career.
Her tenderness, kindness and motherly love touched and inspired us all.
A fundraising campaign has been launched to help offset medical bills and funeral expenses. Your generosity will be highly appreciated.
