<div><strong>Synopsis:</strong>

<div>Ethereal is a short psychological horror film that details the uncomfortable depiction of humanity’s urge to exert power over and make a spectacle of what we perceive as different. The film is loosely based on the story of the orca, Tilikum, which the documentary ‘Blackfish’ covers (among many other similar cases); Tilikum was an orca in captivity who was severely abused until he lashed out and killed his trainer. ‘Ethereal’ is based on the conditions and abuse that orcas and other cetaceans in captivity experience and has the potential to change people's perspectives on treatment of marine life.

<div>This is an entirely student-led and self-funded film but despite using every resource available to the team, support from the community is going to be vital to ensure that it is made to the standard and quality that this issue deserves. Every bit of money donated will go into the making of the film.
