Hi my name is Saryn, and I am currently raising funds for my Apprenticeship at Nihue Rao Centro Espiritual located in the Peruvian Amazon! It is here plant medicine is dieted and learned under the care of Indigenous Shipibo-Conibo curanderos.

 

Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to help people. I was set on studying medicine in one way or another. After 7 years in the medical field and battling depression and anxiety I found myself seeking help outside of the western medical system. Through friends, I was blessed to find Nihue Rao and my teacher. I received tremendous healing upon my first encounter with the medicine and saw a need to help people with their own traumas. I can truly say this medicine saved my life, and now I want to pay it forward.

 

After a number of years and careful consideration, I plan to complete a 1-year apprenticeship followed by studying the Somatic Experiencing course offered by Peter Levine to further help people in the pursuit of healing their traumas.
