Thank You Dr Dennis for all you have done and and thank you for viewing the video. I do not have access to  make a video but please read my story.

My life totally changed direction when I met Doctor Lewis-Enright in 2007 when he had travelled to Zimbabwe for his mother's funeral. The meeting was facilitated by the fact that my mother had been taking care of his mother during her illness. I don't clearly recall the events that led to him taking an interest in my education as I was twelve at the time but I am aware of the fact that this encounter changed the course of my life.

I was in the last year of my primary education and doing very well. I was always the top of my class and entire grade. At this time the next step was getting a secondary education. Getting me through secondary school was going to be a challenge for my mother who was single handedly raising two daughters on very low income and at the same struggling with her health.

Dr Lewis-Enright's offer to facilitate my education could not have come at a better time. I managed to get into one of the best schools in the country John Tallach Secondary school where I completed my ordinary level, in my final year I was the national public speaking champion(2011). He continued to support my education as I did my advanced level at which time I was the Junior deputy prime minister in 2012/13.

I went on to the university of Zimbabwe for my tertiary education where in my final year I was recognized for having the best undergraduate research at the inaugural university of Zimbabwe research week. I was awarded first position for conducting good quality research. My research focused on planting basin based conservation agriculture as a means of increasing productivity and at the same time taking care of the environment. During the course of doing my undergraduate degree I worked as a commercial model, event host, brand ambassador and tutor in order to earn extra money for other expenses I have now completed my first degree in soil science and I am looking to pursue a master's degree.

I am highly motivated and I now wish to pursue a masters degree with the focus on Agriculture and sustainable development. I have been accepted by Greenwich University and was due to begin my studies in September, unfortunately due to financial difficulties I have had to defer to January 2018. (I am aware of the increased financial burden this will place on Dr Lewis-Enright and both he and I discussed the establishment of this campaign)

Why a master’s degree in sustainable development?  Having grown up in a third world country I realise that the development of third world countries and ultimately the global community relies heavily on the productivity of the agricultural sector. I was recognised by the University of Zimbabwe recently at the UZ research week for having the best undergraduate scientific research in the category of research quality. I believe I can pioneer sound solutions for global development through agriculture. I am passionate about this industry and would like to increase my knowledge base so as to contribute significantly not just to the community that immediately surrounds me but the world at large. The major challenge that I am facing is financial support to pursue my next academic goal which will better equip me to play my role in society.

Thank you for reading my story  and thank you for any donation you may choose to make  - it will help me achieve my goal and is deeply appreciated....
