I was offered a fantastic deal from the owners of Duty Dogs in Cody, Wyoming, to get my dog Koda trained as a Diabetic Alert Dog. Most who know me know that when my blood sugar drops, it triggers my epilepsy, and I end up having a seizure. Having a Diabetic Alert Dog would change my life and my children's.

Training a diabetic alert dog takes 2 years and costs around $40,000. I have been blessed with a gift of training alongside the Becker family and a discounted price for Koda’s training.

Here is where I need your help. I was recently diagnosed with leukemia in November of 2024. I have been on disability since November of 2023 due to the seizures I was having because of my low blood sugars. Getting Koda trained will help me regain my independence and hopefully allow me to get a job again.
