<div>Hi, I'm Jenn. You might know me from @tinykitchendances on Instagram.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I've been dancing in my kitchen since 2020 as a meditative return to self and reclamation after discovering that my ex-husband had been drugging me with street-obtained Ambien and filming as he raped me for over 4 years (according to the time stamps).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I've grown a following on Instagram, and have had a desire to bring this project to the people for many years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>November 2026, it launches.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On November 7 at 8 AM, I'm going to start dancing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And I'm going to keep moving for 24 hours.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For you:
</div>
<div>You don't have to dance. You can come sit with us. Watch the film. Listen to music. Bring your kids for a family movement hour. Have some tea.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Come at two in the afternoon or two in the morning.
</div>
<div>Stay for twenty minutes or stay for hours.
</div>
<div>Witnessing is participation, too.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm doing it because there are things we need to talk about: drug assisted rape.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Donations help make the 24-Hour Dance and my work in public educational/advocacy work surrounding it possible.

<div><strong>The Event</strong>
</div>
<div>24-Hour Dance
</div>
<div>November 7–8, 2026
</div>
<div>8:00 AM–8:00 AM
</div>
<div>Little Animals, Asheville, North Carolina | In person + livestream
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Beginning at 8 AM on November 7, I will dance, move, and remain present for 24 hours. I won't do it alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Movers, dancers, musicians, artists, friends, survivors, allies, and community members will be invited to sign up for 30-minute periods throughout the event. Some will participate in person at Little Animals in Asheville. You can join virtually.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>People can also simply witness. The public can come and go throughout the 24 hours or join the livestream from anywhere. There will be different opportunities for community participation throughout the day and night, including possible family/kids programming, music, collaborative movement, conversation, and other special blocks.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Approximately every four hours, I will stop dancing and <strong>Tiny Movements </strong>will screen. You can see the film live in Asheville, but not via streaming, so take a break with me. These screenings give me necessary physical and bio breaks while also returning everyone to the story and purpose underneath the event.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you would like to see the film, there's a <a href="https://www.tinymovementsfilm.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">screening on December 6th you can sign up for here</a>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you're planning to join me in Asheville (yay!), and want to support me, there are lots of ways. <a href="https://forms.gle/s1TeHMnP6vBZcPjs7" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Check them out here, and sign up.</a>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The livestream link will be posted here. </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Want to connect/support? <a href="https://forms.gle/s1TeHMnP6vBZcPjs7" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Go here to sign up</a>, or <a href="https://shannon-ivey.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">email Shannon</a> about the community gathering guide and other ways to get the word out.</strong>

</div>
<div>Jenn's Bio:
</div>
<div>Jenn (Green) Wilenta is a dancer, educator, artist, and survivor advocate whose work explores movement as a tool for expression, connection, and reclaiming one’s story.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A lifelong dancer, Jenn trained at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She studied and performed in collaboration with many artists nationally at various venues, including the Bates Dance Festival. Her viral three-year Instagram tinykitchendances project—an intimate, daily exploration of movement and ordinary life—became the inspiration for the documentary <strong>Tiny Movements</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Jenn’s creative and advocacy work is increasingly shaped by her lived experience as an IPV (intimate partner violence) survivor of DFSA (drug-assisted sexual assault) at the hands of her then husband. Through movement, storytelling, public speaking, and community engagement, she is developing work that challenges silence and the silencing of survivors while creating space for survivors to be witnessed as whole people—not simply through what was done to them. Her vision and mission is in calling in the systemic influences that affect survivors, and encouraging models of accountability that center survivors.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For more than 20 years, Jenn has also worked as an early childhood educator, teaching nursery and kindergarten in Waldorf schools in Brooklyn, Wilton and Keene, New Hampshire, and Asheville, North Carolina. Her work with children includes developing yoga and movement curricula grounded in creativity, embodiment, and play.
</div>
<div>Across her work as an artist, educator, advocate, and parent, Jenn is interested in what the body remembers, how the brain connects to the movement and then to speech, what movement can communicate and create when words alone feel insufficient, and how our individual stories can become catalysts for larger conversations, movements, and advocacy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She is currently expanding her work as an educator, advocate, and speaker alongside screenings with the Tiny Movements Film.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Jenn is excited to connect with people, organizations, and communities for conversations, survivor advocacy, and movement-based community experiences.
