Hi, my name is Jeff Hill and I am an amateur biologist looking to better understand migratory birds across middle Tennessee.

By supporting this fundraiser, you will be helping me purchase audio recording units which will be used to detect Northern Saw-whet Owls across the area. These owls breed way up in Canada and typically spend their winters around the Great Lakes. A small number of owls venture further south in the winter and can infrequently be found here in Tennessee.

If that isn’t cool enough, I have plans to use these same recorders in the spring for a frog survey as well as another cool bird project in the summer.

I greatly appreciate any amount of money you are willing to donate to support these projects.
