Fund Jamie's Stroke Recovery

Donation protected
Last week, my  friend  and fellow RC car racer Jamie Lamont had a stroke.  He had been at work that day and reported not feeling well.  He had been working in the basement doing wiring.  About an hour after he went to the basement, a  co-worker  checked on him and found him on the floor unresponsive.  He was initially sent to Central Vermont Regional Hospital and subsequently transferred to UVM Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont.   He has undergone surgery to remove the clot on his brain.  He is currently on a feeding tube.   His family is by his side giving him strength and encouragement.

While it is too soon for the doctors to know his long-term prognosis for recovery, he is undergoing physical therapy and his sister reported to us that he was able to state his name and address and answer other questions quite clearly.  This is great news!    We will post updates on his condition as that information becomes available to us.

Anyone that knows Jamie knows that he is a kind and generous person,  always willing to help when needed.   It is our turn to help him!

We are asking for your donations to help cover his expenses while he is in the hospital and during the rehabilitation process  so he can devote all his energy to a full recovery.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post and for the donations towards Jamie’s recovery.
