Hello!

My name is Isabella Diaz, and I’m raising funds to take part in an incredible three-week wildlife conservation program in Australia. During this experience, I’ll learn about the anatomy, behavior, and conservation of Australian wildlife. This will range from kangaroos and koalas to species found nowhere else on Earth.

I’ve always been deeply passionate about helping animals. I’ve volunteered in shelters, cleaning dog kennels, cat cages, bunny bedding, and doing laundry, which people are not particular about doing on their free weekends. I will do anything that helps animals live more comfortably. But this program will allow me to go beyond local shelters and take my passion for animal care to a global level. I’ll be working hands-on to protect and rehabilitate wildlife that can’t simply be brought into a shelter, the animals that depend on conservation efforts to survive in the wild.

This experience will be life changing for me. It will help me grow as a future zoologist and wildlife conservationist, and it will bring me one step closer to achieving my dream of giving a voice to animals who can’t speak for themselves.
