On Nov 10, 2025, at 1:00 am, my son Hector D. Cruz Segura passed suddenly. Hector was a high school graduate from Linda Marquez High School, born in Los Angeles, CA. 
 
Hector passed from a heart attack at home due to a severe car accident Hector had a week ago. Hector was only 18 years old; he would have been turning 19 years old on Nov. 17, 2025. 
 
Hector was a family and people person. He loved life. Hector adored his parents and grandma. Hector played sports and won awards. He loved his big brother and his two little godbrothers and friends. Hector enjoyed his independence and had just gotten his driver's license, a car, and a job as a security guard. Hector loved to cook and eat, also just taking in life as it came and never took life for granted. Hector respected his family and friends.

El 10 de noviembre de 2025, a la 1:00 am, mi hijo Héctor D. Cruz Segura falleció repentinamente. Héctor era un graduado de secundaria de Linda Márquez High School, nacido en Los Ángeles, California. 
 
Héctor falleció de un ataque al corazón en su casa debido a un grave accidente automovilístico que Héctor tuvo hace una semana. Héctor tenía solo 18 años; habría cumplido 19 años el 17 de noviembre de 2025. 
 
Héctor era una persona de familia y de gente. Él amaba la vida. Héctor adoraba a sus padres y a su abuela. Héctor practicó deportes y ganó premios. Amaba a su hermano mayor y a sus dos hermanos y amigos pequeños. Héctor disfrutó de su independencia y acababa de obtener su licencia de conducir, un auto y un trabajo como guardia de seguridad. A Héctor le encantaba cocinar y comer, y también se daba por sentada la vida. Héctor respetaba a su familia y amigos.
