Fund Frank's Vital History Research
Donation protected
Hello everyone. This is Frank Passic, Albion Historian. I have been writing and researching the history of Albion, Michigan and its people since the 1970s. I am a 1971 graduate of Albion High School, and a 1975 graduate of Spring Arbor University. My weekly articles regularly appear in the Morning Star, and the Recorder, and in the past, the Journal of Albion.
I have written several hundred articles about Albion history through the years, and these are shared on the www.albionmich.com website. I have also written several books about Albion history and make displays promoting Albion's rich history. I help both individuals and businesses with their local history questions and have transcribed the Riverside Cemetery burial records onto the www.findagrave.com website.
My previous funding sources as Albion Historian have dried up, as my books are now either sold out or not selling. My costs and time are not reimbursed by the newspapers that publish my articles. I have significant expenses for supplies such as ink cartridges, paper, printing costs and photographs, as well as time and expenses of doing research at the State of Michigan Library in Lansing. Their digital microfilm readers are an excellent tool for me to discover topics and articles for my readership.
Thank you to all my readers for your encouragement through the years. If you are able to contribute to my work financially, it will help me to better continue as Albion Historian in our community. Thank you so much for your consideration. Sincerely, Frank Passic, Albion Historian.
