Fund for wicket the corgi's cancer

Wicket is my corgi, my heart dog. One of the sweetest smartest best dogs one could hope for. He is my life.  We got him as a Christmas present for my husband and myself and he's been a true companion ever since; moving with us from different countries and cities.

Recently he started having random noise bleeds. After trips to the emergency vet and our regular vet they said they couldn't do much without further, specialist, tests to diagnose and the problem could range from a stuck grass seed, fungal infection, to nasal tumour. The diagnostic tests include a CT scan and Rhinoscopy (camera guided biopsy) along with anesthia and blood work. We went in for the tests last week which ended up costing about 3800$ (including a recheck visit from excess bleeding after the biopsy).  It was expensive but I had to know, I couldn't just let him go on bleeding when something could maybe be done.

My heart broke into a million pieces this week when the test results came back confirming a large nasal tumor in the back of his nose and behind one eye. The vet said due to the location and type that surgery, radiation and chemo were not options. Without treatment prognosis with these types is only a few months. But there is a newer oral tablet called palladia which has had some success shrinking and or maintaining tumor size (some minor success and some major success). The cost for the first five weeks is ~2000$ due to more intense monitoring and weekly blood work. We want to at least give it a try, feel we owe it to him to see if it even helps - helps to improve quality and duration of life. But the cost (combined with the costs already from diagnosing) is not small. We unfortunately don't have him enrolled in vet insurance. The irony is his sister corgi is because she had many lumps we thought might be cancerous (which were not) and could only afford the premiums for one of the two (and Wicket has always been in near perfect health).

I've always tried to contribute to other dog (and cat) fundraisers whenever possible. I love my pets to the moon and back, I have sacrificed and will continue to sacrifice for them, to give them the best life possible. But if anyone out there can help me do that with any size donation, you would have my eternal gratitude.
