Fund for Rubys surgery

Donation protected
On the weekend my beautiful border collie Ruby had an accident playing with a stick, which sadly went down her throat causing an injury. She's had about 3 visits to the vet so far, being prescribed to anti inflammatory and anti-biotics to reduce the swelling so they can locate the possible object that's stuck in her throat.

Her next visit to the vet will be on Monday morning (27th of April) which is when they will evaluate the situation further and make plans for her admission into surgery on the same day. At this point in time I've been quoted around $2,000.00 for surgery, CT scans etc (I'll post the exact figure when it arrives in my email).

Due to the horrible timing of this with being unemployed because of my lung condition (being high risk to covid-19) I can't get covered with vet-pay or other similar vet loans, and my emergency funds are already low. So I'm reaching out to friends and family who can spare some coffee change and share this around. I don't expect much as we're in horrible financial times and it's hard on everyone. At the end of the day I'll find one way or another to cover this since she means the absolute world to me, but if you're feeling generous I'll forever be in your debt and can't express enough how thankful Ruby and I are.

Update:
Complete transparency, I've posted updates on the GoFundMe page of all the payments made so far due to the generosity of you lovely people, as well as the minimum cost estimation for her surgery (which has now moved to Tuesday morning) totaling $1,766.75 (with consultations), fingers crossed that she won't need a CT scan otherwise it brings it up to $2,666.75. I'm leaving it at its current goal as you guys have done soo much and I don't have an accurate figure until I get billed on Tuesday, but still feel free to share the page around <3

On a side note, Ruby is the best she's been since last weekend, still has an appetite, going on walks and still smiling. The swelling is almost completely gone, but just a nasty wound on her neck from where the abscess has been draining.
