My name is Jessica and I’m doing this for my younger sister Laura, who is currently in the hospital giving birth to her deceased baby. On Monday 5/13/25 Laura went to her 7 month check up, everything was normal and went well. Later that next day (today) she started having contractions called her Dr and from there to the ER. That’s when she found out the baby’s umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck and she no longer had a heartbeat. This is sudden and devastating as you can imagine, Laura has 3 other children and currently living with our mother in a 2 bedroom home. She’s been at the same job for over 10 years and works very hard. I know she can’t come up with what it’s going to cost to give her baby a proper burial so I’m reaching out to everyone hoping we can show her she’s not alone in this tragic loss.
