My husband Gregory is yet another victim of the initiative to remove immigrants from America. As we all know, this impacts a lot of families, but NEVER have we EVER imagined being in this position.
On Tuesday, September 26, 2017, Gregory was at home getting ready to pick-up our 4 year old daughter from pre-school, when he heard a knock at our door and was approached by ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and taken into Immigration custody.
To REMOVE and/or DENY any individual the opportunity to remain in America with their loved ones is not only shocking, but hurtful as well. Although he was born in Guatemala, it is a place he has never known or returned to. America has been his home since he was 1 year old, and being presented with the possibility of being removed from the only life you have ever known and developed is unimaginable.
Not only is this a shock and concern to our family, but this also breaks our familial foundation and livelihood apart. Gregory has fought hard to overcome adversities and hardships he has faced in life. He is a loved husband, father, brother, son, uncle and friend. He ensures that not only his family is well taken care of, but also those around him. It is with a heavy heart that we are in this position and have to continue on to fight the good fight to ensure his safety and keep him here on American soil.
Anything at this point helps tremendously. If this explaination of a hard-working, loving, and caring family-man and friend has touched you, any prayer or donation in the smallest amount will be abundantly appreciated.
Please keep Gregory and our family and other families in our same position who have been impacted by these unfortunate circumstances in your thoughts and prayers to be made whole again.

Mi esposo es otra víctima más de la iniciativa de remover a inmigrantes de usa. Como todos sabemos, esto ha afectado a muchas familias. Pero NUNCA habíamos imaginado estar en esta posición. El martes 26 de septiembre del 2017 Gregory estaba en casa preparándose para ir por nuestra hija de 4 años al preescolar, cuando escuchó unos golpes en la puerta cuando abrió fue detenido por ICE Agentes de migración y aduanas.
REMOVER o NEGAR a cualquier individuo la oportunidad de pertenecer en estados unidos de América, con sus seres queridos no solo es impactante, si no también hiriente. Aunque nació en Guatemala es un lugar al que nunca regreso por lo cual no conocé América ha Sido su hogar desde que tenía 1 año de edad. Y querer remover lo de la única vida que ha conocido y desarrollado es imaginable.
Esto no solo es un shock y preocupación para nuestra familia sino también rompe nuestra base familiar y nuestro medio de vida. Gregory ha luchando duro para superar las adversidades y las dificultades que ha enfrentado en la vida. Es un esposo, padre, hermano, hijo, tío, y amigo. Que se asegura que no solo estemos bien cuidados sino también a los que le rodea. Es con el corazón pesado que estamos en esta y tenemos que seguir luchando la buena pelea para garantizar su seguridad y mantenerlo aquí en suelo americano.
Cualquier cosa en este momento ayuda enormemente.
