Fund for Conrado's ALS Battle

This GoFundMe campaign is for a very good friend, Conrado Rivera, who has fallen on hard times and needs our help.
He is currently battling ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease), and his treament has been complicated due to the aftermath of the devastating hurricane season in Puerto Rico, where he lives. The conditions in his area of the island have been unimaginable for months after Hurricanes Irma and Maria, and the disease has left him unable to work and struggling to regain a quality of life. His home is running on generator power, and the electricity costs are running nearly half a thousand dollars every month, even when in limited use. Soon, Conrado will need to rely on a respirator to breathe, and the generator costs are expected to double if not triple the current costs.
As you can see, the situation is quite dire. The money raised during this campagin will be used to help ease Conrado and his family's financial burden during his battle with this debilitating illness. Hopefully enough donations will be made that his power costs and some of his medical expenses will be covered for the next six months or more, and he and his family and caretakers can focus on the more important issues during this time.
In particular, I am reaching out to the Archaeology community. Conrado worked by our sides for years, and we all cherish him as a co-worker, employee, friend, fellow-field-tech. He was there for us on countless occasions, and now I am asking us as a family to be there for him.
