Fund Enders 2nd full TPLO surgery

Also, chances are you know my dogs and I. But if you don’t, I’m Eva and I have two dogs, Ender and Nyla. I got Ender when I was 20 years old and he was just a puppy at weeks old. He is a pit bull, so obviously the cutest and sweetest thing. If you know him you know this to be true. I’ve always strived to take the best care of my dogs because they are so much more than just pets to me. I call them my soul dogs. I can’t imagine my life without them. They really do bring such light into this world, into my life and the into the lives of anyone they meet. I could go on and on about both of them!

In 2020, Ender tore his CCL in his left hind leg and had to have a full repair surgery (TPLO). Metal plate and screws, the whole nine. At the time I was more financially stable and could afford the surgery no problem. The TPLO is a major surgery. Unfortunately once a dog (which pits are prone to this injury, his brother even tore his) tears one legs CCL, they are bound to tear the same ligament in the opposite leg. On Sunday, June 19th, Ender was off leash having fun with Nyla and let out a yelp and ever since would not put ANY weight on his right hind leg. He has been acting so lame, I knew exactly what had happened. Our visit to the vet on Tuesday June 21st held the news I’ve feared. On Friday June 24th Ender received sedated X-rays and bloodwork in preparation for surgery on his newly injured right hind leg. They confirmed the full rupture. The TPLO surgery is scheduled for Thursday July 7th. While Ender needs this surgery and I’m glad it’s happening sooner than later, I do not know how I’m going to pay for it. I always joke that “I work to take care of my dogs and live alone”, it’s true. Life is expensive, dogs are expensive and large dogs at that. I can’t believe I’m making a go fund me but I feel hopeless as far as the cost. The estimate for the surgery is 3300-3600 dollars. I am hoping to raise as much as possible so that I can afford to have/pay for this surgery for my boy. If you are in any place to help in any way shape or form, it would be truly appreciated.
