For the past four years the Duckpin TV crew has done its best to promote the sport of duckpin bowling through its efforts to share the sport with the world via online content. We're proud of what we have accomplished - our Duck Talk segments, a comprehensive archive of classic material ,
four years of exhilarating live streams of the Eastern Classic , broadcast of the inaugural Preakness Duckpin Classic , the creation of the Duckpin TV Championships, the RI Series Finals, the WNDA , and much more.
However, as technology has exponentially improved over the past four years, our resources have not. As of January 2018, we've reached a critical turning point - either we upgrade or we call it quits. The Duckpin TV crew does not want to disband, but we agree that we have to face reality. So, we are calling on the duckpin bowling community to make this decision for us. It's all or nothing. If we can meet our fundraising goal, Duckpin TV will bring you more and better content than ever before. If we can't meet the goal, we're done. So, please help us and please help the sport by donating.
What will the funds raised be used for?
*New, powerful computer, monitors, and router
*New live streaming software
What will these allow us to do?
*Stream to Facebook Live (Some of our simple bowling videos with no commentary or graphics have close to 200,000 views; imagine the number of eyeballs our sport will reach and engage with professional livestreams!)
*Incorporate Instant Replays (You know you want to see that shot again!)
*Produce streams remotely (Cameras on location + production staff at home = no travel costs = MORE CONTENT)
*Add 20 new Classics to the Duckpin TV archive
What are our goals?
*Live stream more duckpin bowling to engage and expand our online community
*Stream events like the Eastern Classic, Preakness Duckpin Classic, Pro League Matches, Challenge Matches, WNDA Tour, and maybe even... events like the DPBA Tour, Pop Whitten Tour, and Canadian 5-Pin...
