Fund A Future - Boys & Girls Club

Every day, more than fifty kids come to the Boys and Girls Club in Douglas for after-school programs that are dedicated to build and enhance a promising future. 

Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, caring and engaged citizens.

We invest heavily in academic success, good character, citizenship and healthy lifestyles. We firmly believe our investment in these kids has a significant impact and that we can’t afford to leave kids unsupervised after-school, where most go home to video games, television and the internet.

The club needs your help with this mission. While we do receive some federal grants and government support, those represent less than a quarter of our budget. Over half of the funds we use to impact kids comes from individuals who believe in the importance of investing in the future of youth in Douglas.

Now is a great time to help. We are launching the “Fund a Future” end of year campaign, with the goal of raising $30,000 to fund after-school programs that focus on values and character.
