I have accepted a position with National Campus Life Network which serves to convert students to a pro-life perspective and connect them to the pro-life movement. We specifically focus on the age group 18-24 because they have the most abortions in Canada. NCLN strives to help students become leaders fighting against censorship from their university administration, building up their club members, and working to convert their peers around them to a pro-life mindset.
There are more people who are working full time to kill babies than are working to save them and NCLN creates leaders who are inspired and devoted to the pro-life cause. NCLN has been vital to me as a pro-life activist and instrumental in creating my desire to work full time in the pro-life movement.
I learned about NCLN at a conference in high school, and the talk challenged me to become a leader in the prolife movement. When I was 17, I started Letters4Life, a campaign which aimed to motivate Canadians to send 100,000 prolife letters to Parliament. We reached the goal with 119,000 letters. NCLN equipped me with motivation, apologetics training and friendships that gave me the drive to continue the campaign despite opposition and challenges. I want to do the same for others as NCLN's Southwestern Campus Coordinator, so students can reach out to their peers and share the prolife message, and feel equipped and supported in the hard work of making their campus pro-life.
In order to do this I need to fundraise my salary. My goal is a salary of $30,000 which is $2500 a month or 100 people donating $25 monthly toward my salary, a yearly renewable gift of $300, or whatever you can give.
