Fullerton Care and Rehab
On March 23rd the unimaginable happened.
Our corporation (Skyline Healthcare) failed to make payroll. This left 85 employees without their paychecks. Nebraska DHHS placed us into receivership later on March 23rd, placing Klaasmeyer and Associates as receivers to operate our facility temporarily until a permanent owner can be put into place. This guarantees that our residents will be provided with supplies and food and our employees will be paid going forward.
We are forever grateful for this and forever grateful for what Klaasmeyer and Associates have already done for us!
One thing that has not happened yet is getting the employees their missed paychecks. Our employees have continued to show up for work to provide the excellent care to our residents, despite the fact that they have not received their last paycheck. They are extremely dedicated.
This fundraiser is being set up to generate cash to put into our employees pockets to cover expenses such as food, gas, diapers, rent, utilities, etc. Anything you could do to help support the Fullerton Care and Rehab employees would be greatly appreciated!
