Fulfilling A Dream: Boston Marathon

For anyone who knows my father, Wayne Foster, they know he's been running his entire life. There is probably nothing he loves more than running other than his family. Wayne runs pretty much everyday, most of the time with his various running clubs he participates in, a short run before starting the work day, or a nice long hilly run with a bunch of his running buddies. As friends have called him "The Incredible Zippy", he can always be seen running some sort of road race, whether it is a simple 5k or a 26.2 mile marathon.

Wayne has always had a dream about one day running in the Boston Marathon. Well after years of hard work and dedication, he managed to qualify for the 2018 Boston Marathon and on September 15th, 2017, he was officially accepted and given entry to compete. With friends and family cheering him on, Wayne will make the trek to Boston in April 2018, along with myself, his daughter Kolette, to fulfill his lifelong dream.

However, Boston is a good 3,000 miles away and to get there, time would need to taken off of work to travel and recover after the marathon. That being said, we are requesting financial help to make the flight and hotel arrangements as soon as possible, and for some extra spending money to take in the sights of historic Boston while we are there. I am asking that you share this campaign and donate whatever you can to this amazing athlete who is only trying to do what everybody else wants to do someday, accomplish their biggest dreams.
