My wife has been officially placed on a nation wide organ transplantation list this past week of Nov. 17
Deb is very fragile and is suffering with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
We've already made trips to Chicago, IL Aug. 10th, Sept. 9 through the 13th, the 18th, Oct. 2nd and the 9th. This past two weeks more Lab blood work was done here locally. Deb also had a dental examination done. She is very close to being officially placed on the Lung Transplant list. Once Deborah gets her new lungs she will remain in the hospital for two - three weeks if everything goes well. Then be moved to the Worcester House for Patients, to remain close (within three blocks) of the hospital and it's $80 per night plus $75 a week to park. Everything is so very expensive in Chicago, IL.
We have met many other patients who have had lung(s) transplants, there's much involved.
