<div><strong>We’re two 17 year old students from Guernsey who have spent the past year developing a brand-new sports drink designed for young sports enthusiasts.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’ve invested our own savings, travelled to a UK factory and worked with industry professionals to create a final recipe, branding, packaging concepts, and undertake a full health and safety compliance check. We now have samples, a production plan, and a clear route to market. We can't reveal too many recipe secrets yet - but our ChargePlus drinks will be a naturally sourced, sports energy drink unlike anything currently available.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To launch our first production run, we need to raise £12,000 and we’re asking for community support to help us take this final step.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why we’re doing this. </strong>
</div>
<div>Growing up playing sport in Guernsey, we noticed that most sports drinks are packed with sugar, artificial colours, or ingredients that don’t support long-term health. We wanted to create something cleaner, healthier, and performance focused. There are currently very few drinks available that combine the key ingredients we feel are most valuable pre-workout, so we wanted to create a unique blend so sportspeople no longer need to buy multiple drinks or powders to access the nutrition they need for optimal performance.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Throughout our teenage years, our parents were reluctant to let us have energy drinks as they perceived these products to be unhealthy. We wanted to challenge this view and create a viable alternative that would satisfy even the most health conscious consumer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Entrepreneurship runs in both our families, and studying A-Level Business at the Sixth Form Centre has only strengthened our passion to build something of our own – something positive for young athletes like us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Alongside Business Studies, we have gained practical knowledge of exercise and nutrition through years of competing in sports at county level for tennis, padel and squash.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We know how hard it is to decipher the science behind the latest health craze or ‘buzz’ ingredient. Studying A-level PE, Exercise and Physiology, particularly diet and nutrition, has enabled us to thoroughly research the most important functional ingredients to put in our drink.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why your donation matters. </strong>
</div>
<div>Your support helps two young entrepreneurs bring a local product to life. The drink was created in Guernsey, for Guernsey… and eventually, beyond!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are currently balancing this project with revision for our upcoming A-levels, but we’re determined to launch <strong>this summer.</strong> To hit that timeline we need to raise as much of the funding as possible before the end of June to allow for the eight-week production window.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Our ask of you</strong>
</div>
<div>We would be grateful for any donation you feel able to help us with. You will be part of something new and exciting in the health and wellness arena. Significant donations mean you will be influential in supporting local entrepreneurship and backing the next generation of business in Guernsey.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>How the funds will be used</strong>
</div>
<div>We need <strong>£12,000</strong> to kick-start our business and fund the following:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>•	First production run of 8,000 units
</div>
<div>•	Packaging and labelling
</div>
<div>•	Initial distribution
</div>
<div>•	Further product testing and compliance
</div>
<div>•	Launch marketing
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Even if we don’t reach the full target, all donations will be carefully used to fund a smaller initial production run, prioritising our core flavour and supporter rewards, so we can get the product out into the world and build from there.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What you’ll receive</strong>
</div>
<div>This is a donation-based fundraising campaign – we hope you will support us because you believe in what we’re building. As a thank you, all donors will be listed on our website as ‘Founding Supporters’ or ‘Main Sponsor’, and we’ll share regular updates as we grow.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Supporter Rewards</strong>

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>*Founding supporter bundle includes 6-pack of drink, branded t-shirt and branded mug.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Giving back to our island</strong>
</div>
<div>From day one, we want our business to contribute positively to the community. That’s why we’re committing the first <strong>£1,000 of profit to The Guernsey Sports Commission</strong>, supporting programmes that help young people stay active, healthy, and confident.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Our commitment to transparency</strong>
</div>
<div>We believe in being open and transparent with everyone who supports us. All donations made through GoFundMe are protected in line with their terms and conditions. In addition, as we are currently under 18 and unable to open a business bank account, both of our parents are actively supporting the venture by providing guidance, oversight, and secure safekeeping of all funds raised.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All contributions will be held safely, kept separate, and used solely for the purposes of developing our start‑up business (less the platform’s fees). Once we both turn 18, we plan to incorporate ChargePlus as a limited company in Guernsey and open a dedicated business bank account to continue operating in a transparent and professional manner.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Join us</strong> and help create Guernsey’s first youth-founded sports drink - and support the next generation of local athletes.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for reading this far!
