Fuel The Fight -Ellsworth Family

In June of 2017, Corinne and Jamie Ellsworth, young parents of 4 beautiful children,  received  devastating news .  Corinne, who had been experiencing minor health symptoms underwent  medical tests.  The news she received was shocking, she was told she has a bowel tumor that has spread to her liver.   They are not ready to give up - and we want to fuel the fight by supporting them with the love, prayer and resources required!

Corinne and Jaime and their four children hail from Clarenville Newfoundland.  Their kids are Landon (6), Layla (7), Deserae (11) and Nikolas (12).  They moved a few years ago to Grande Prairie Alberta to find work in the booming economy here.  Jamie found work as a heavy duty mechanic and Corinne found work as a hair stylist in a salon in the mall. They bought a house in Sexsmith, a beautiful community just outside of Grande Prairie.   Sadly, not too far into their Alberta adventure, the economic downturn happened and Jamie lost his job.   Corinne and Jamie decided to take a risk to start her own hair salon.    Recently Jamie has found work again but hasn't been working long enough to collect vacation days. And tragically, because of Corinne's health, they have also been forced to shut the doors of her growing  salon business, with many bills yet to be paid.

But there are two bright spots in their lives .  The first is that Corinne's mother Shirley has moved up to Alberta and is staying as long as she is needed to look after the family while Corinne is in and out of the hospital.  The second is that  Corinne and Jamie have great faith in the goodness of God and His ability to bring them through this! But they need your prayers as well as financial help to fuel the fight.  Corinne and Jamie are positive people who have faith, joy and hope!   Encourage them as they hope for a miracle and consider giving generously to help them out with the many financial burdens they are experiencing at this time.
