Pop pop needs a kidney

To know him is to love him. My dad is a devoted husband, father and pop pop. He is a generous, loving, and hard working man. All our lives my dad  has put his family first and continues to show his 3 grandsons the love and support we have had all these years.

We want pop pop to be put first this time!

" How come pop pop has to go to dialysis so much?" asks my son. Our wish is for pop pop to get to see every school play, graduation and sporting event. Sometimes dialysis prevents pop pop from being able to attend. 

We want him to actively enjoy every day and every moment of every day.  A kidney transplant will help that happen.

Thank goodness for medical insurance but it doesnt cover it all.

My dad is awaiting the kidney transplant. When he gets "the call" he has to go. We are hoping for donations to cover the additional fees incurred. Copays, medication, maintenance  drugs, temporary housing, flights, transportation, follow up visits, etc. He will have to stay near the hospital in Minneapolis for at least 3 weeks and return for follow up visits. Costs accumulate quickly.

We are appreciative of any help you can give to ensure Pop pop will be able to have the medications and medical care he needs post transplant.
